It encourages high ethical standards in all vocations and works for goodwill and peace in the world.

Community service

Community service is the traditional and well-known face of Rotary. It covers help and advice to the aged, disabled, the infirm, young people, and those in need either directly or by supporting local charitable organisations.

International service

International service promotes international goodwill. It includes emergency aid and practical help to disaster areas, medical support to remote towns and villages, vocational training for young people, facilities for schools in underdeveloped areas, water filtration units where pure water is urgently needed, assistance in the eradication of diseases such as Polio and the prevention of Malaria, plus many other projects which help bring a better quality of life to people around the world. These are some of the projects members of Rotary in this area participate in throughout the year.
